| Bio: | Call me Max. I live in Mountain View, CA and I'm probably the only software engineer in the world who didn't manage to get disgustingly rich during the dotcom bubble. I'm the lead programmer at V______r, a company I helped to found a few months ago. I'm just doing boring EJB stuff, but at least we have a few customers, unlike at some other companies I have foolishly worked for (i-BS, for starters). When I'm not working or battling the forces of darkness, I enjoy reading, learning new spells, and playing softball. BTW, from time to time I might write about vampires, demons, or other horrible monsters. Do not be alarmed. I'm not insane.
